Keep SEIA Programs Going Strong All Year Long!

The SEIA warming center has temporarily closed. We are exploring a variety of funding opportunities to fulfill our goal of reopening this summer! We hope to make this possible with your generous support.
Throughout March and April of 2021, more than 800 clients accessed the center and its services. Open from 10am-12noon and again from 1pm-4pm, the space was much more than a warming center. Clients can access washrooms, a computer, a phone, charge their phone, rest, grab a hygiene kit, clothing and small household items, even a meal and drink. To empower our clients, SEIA also provides legal, tenancy and crisis support and information. These services and the dedicated support of SEIA staff and volunteers have raised spirits, provided opportunities, met basic needs, and saved lives.
The goal of this GoFundMe campaign is to reopen the SEIA Warming Center and *if possible* buy a washer / dryer to add the list of critical services offered. Any donation will help make an impact. Thank you in advance for your contribution, it means so much so many people.
