Please help Baby and me stay together. We were separated after the landlords performed an illegal eviction. 

***EDIT It takes 2-5 business days for funds to be verified and released to the bank. We need $1000/wk to stay together where we feel safe and supported. Fingers are crossed the transfer from Go Fund Me to my bank comes through tomorrow when I pay for the next week’s stay. The hearing is on July 4 at 9am. 

This is not my fault and I have been working very hard with legal aid, police and all of the organizations in Ontario that have lots of experience with these matters. I have been getting support from my team of mental health professionals (and talk with my mum) every day this week.

Finding a safe place to stay has been a great challenge and a huge financial burden that I am not able to handle alone.

Yesterday I used the last of my funds to secure this room for us.

WE ARE BACK TOGETHER, WE ARE SAFE and WE ARE HEALING.

We are staying at a hotel that allow pets and people here are very kind and welcoming. It costs just 130-170/night when I book online. Yesterday's booking brought me into overdraft. Unfortunately, ODSP does not allow for rainy day funds.

We need to stay together, at least over the weekend, while the very important people who are helping us are off work and Baby and I have safe shelter and continue to heal. It has been a very traumatic experience for us both.

We might be down but don't ever count us out.
