Help My Mom Stay Housed While She Applies for Disability

Hi, my name is Samantha, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my mom, who is going through an incredibly difficult time.

She’s currently battling cancer and, as a result, has been unable to work. She’s in the process of applying for disability, but as many people know, that process takes time — time she doesn’t have when it comes to covering her most urgent needs.

Right now, she needs help paying rent and essential bills over the next few months to avoid losing her housing. We’re asking for $5,000 to cover three months of rent and basic living costs while she waits for her disability income to be approved.
