Hi, my name is Salvala. I’m a transgender musician and artist living in New York City, and I’m facing an urgent challenge. The work that once allowed me to make ends meet is no longer sustainable for me — both physically and mentally.

I’m raising funds to cover my daily living expenses, including housing and food, while I search for new, sustainable employment. These funds will be carefully budgeted to provide stability and give me the chance to move forward with a solid foundation.

Staying in NYC is more than a personal preference — it’s a matter of safety. Returning to rural southern Oklahoma would put me in an unsafe environment where I could not live openly as a trans woman.
