Hi, my name is Sabira Proctor, and I’m a senior at Lincoln University (PA), majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Social Work.
I’ve always believed in the power of education and service. I started my academic journey by earning my Associate’s degree in Hospitality, and now I’m pursuing my Bachelor’s degree to create an even greater impact. Ever since I was young, I’ve felt a strong calling to help others and be a voice for those who are unheard. That’s why I chose this path, to one day work in the justice system and make a real difference in people’s lives, especially in underserved communities. I’m passionate about combining my studies in criminal justice and social work to advocate for fairness, rehabilitation, and second chances.
But my journey hasn’t been easy. I live with epilepsy, a neurological condition that has brought challenges to my daily life. From managing seizures and medications to facing limitations in working and day to day activities . Despite these obstacles, I’ve continued to push forward in my studies with determination and faith.
Unfortunately, I’m currently facing financial hardships that are threatening my ability to continue my education. Despite working and Lincoln providing me with a partial scholarship, I’m coming up short on tuition for the upcoming semester. That’s why I’m reaching out for help. I’m hoping to raise $7500. These funds will ensure I can stay enrolled for both the fall and spring semester, stay focused, and stay on track to graduate in May 2026.
If you’re able to donate, I am beyond grateful. And if you’re not in a position to give, simply sharing this campaign with others would mean the world to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and consider supporting my journey. With your help, I can continue moving forward and make the impact I’ve always dreamed of.
With gratitude,
Sabira Proctor
