We need help. We humbly ask you to help us sustain during this time of closure! The Governor of Michigan has issued an order that forces us to continue to keep our doors closed until April 30th or until we have reached Phase 3 opening as a state. COVID-19 has certainly impacted all our lives in ways we never imagined. Our hearts go out to all those have gotten sick or lost a loved to COVID-19.  Mighty Mitt is a Parkinson's disease Movement Center in Midland, Michigan and home to Rock Steady Boxing Mid Michigan. Mighty Mitt's goal is to help people living with Parkinson's disease live well with their disease. We offer many programs including exercise, non-contact boxing fitness workouts, cognitive activities, tia chi, art therapy, PD dance workshops(coming soon) and caregiver support. We offer continuing education to our community of Parkinson's members by hosting presentations by health care professionals in the community to keep all members up to date on the latest treatments.  Since COVID-19 pandemic, we have been doing our best to provide our community programming they can access virtually. It is wonderful that we have members that are able to join us online to workout, but there are many that are unable to, and this has led to a reduction in monthly revenue. When all of this is over we want to make sure our members have a place to come back to. A place where they can feel safe again. A place where they can call home and start THRIVING and living BETTER with Parkinson's again. A place of HOPE where everyone FIGHTS BACK against Parkinson's. We want to make sure that we can stay open and keep the cost low for our members. While still providing the great care they so desperately need.  We are attempting to raise enough funds to cover the monthly shortfall of rent, utilities, insurance and building expenses, until it's safe to reopen the building. Any excess funds raised through this campaign will be donated to the MI Parkinson's Foundation. We thank all of you in advance for you donations!
