WHO ARE WE?
Seaford Town Football Club is a non-profit, FA Charter Standard Community Club, run by volunteers for the benefit of the town.
Founded in 1888 we have hosted generations of local families
from youth to senior football.
We take a lot of pride in our youth football. Our youth teams start from Under 7s all the way up to under 16s at which point the players can go onto entering senior football with under 18s, 23s and onto the First Team. Giving both boys and girls the opportunity to meet new friends and participate in sport which is not only great for their social development but keeps them active.
Within our youth football, we have three ‘Inclusive Ability’ teams that gives youngsters with additional needs the opportunity to play football and receive the benefits of participating in team sports. Whether their needs are physical or social all are welcome and accepted.
WHY DO WE NEED A MOWER/ROLLER?
There is a serious lack of playing fields in our town and in-particular limited football pitches. The Council outsources the maintenance of these pitches to an independent company who work on a limited municipal contract. Unfortunately for us, the maintenance isn't up to the standard required for us to play the amount youth and senior football required by the club.
Our main pitch at The Crouch & the mini pitches we use for U7, U8 & U9’s are often bumpy and unplayable and with the recent extreme weather, there has been disruption to our inclusive ability, youth and senior teams.
Our fantastic volunteers have offered to give up their own personal time to help the club maintain our pitch and a ride on mower/roller will enable us to provide a better quality playing experience for all.
