Keep Roberta's independence alive

We are setting this up to get help for our grandma Roberta. She is 79 years old and she has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a few months ago. She lives on a fixed income and has Medicare. Unfortunately, she does not qualify for any extra help.

We now have to travel from Joplin to KU in Kansas City for medical treatments and she has extra medical bills now. We drive her back and forth to appointments and we do everything we can, but the financial aspect of this is becoming overwhelming for all of us. She is needing financial help so she doesn't lose her home because she loves her independence.

Granny is the toughest old bird in the world who prefers to never ask for anything she can't get on her own, but after a lifetime of picking herself up, we have convinced her to reach out for help. If there is anything you could contribute to help our Granny beat this thing, to help her enjoy her remaining years with her great-grandchildren (one just graduated high school, two are in grade school, one was just born this month, and one on the way!!), we would be so grateful for your help making this fight just a little less stressful.
