Dear friends,

Many of you know the story of how this little dog ended up in my life, but for those of you who don't, here it is.

In May 2022 I befriended a young lady who had Robbie as a "Service/Comfort animal". Over several months time, I, as well as her neighbors observed a pattern of mistreatment to the dog that was concerning.

In September 2022, she told people he was dying of cancer, posted it on social media and was preparing to euthanize him.

The truth (I would find out later) was that Robbie was intentionally being malnourished, verbally abused, kept inside a tiny apartment most of the day and unable to get out much.

She agreed to let me take him as she was "planning on getting another dog anyway”, and so began his long healing journey.

Robbie came to me depressed, anxious, fragile, dirty, with both ears heavily infected and a skeletal body.

Over the course of 15 months and with a steady diet of Iams dog food, consistent love, play, treats, & Reiki treatments, Robbie has grown into a brave, strong, healthy little dog.

After all this time, I received a letter stating I’m being sued for Robbie’s return, as she now wants him back.

I will fight until my dying breath to protect this beautiful animal, but need assistance to pay the legal costs.

Please help me help him!
