Keep Rich Johnson Rollin’
Donation protected
It’s been a long road since I was injured on my motorcycle 10 years ago. On July 14, 2009 I became a wheelchair user and am immensely grateful for the love and support of friends and family along the way resulting in a stellar recovery; enabling me to engage in a very productive and active lifestyle.
In 2012 I began driving a 1994 Dodge van adapted with motorized doors, a side loader lift, swivel seat, and hand controls. It is 25 years old with over 190,000 miles on it, and unfortunately has become exceedingly unreliable because of breakdowns and is financially unsustainable due to these frequent costly repairs.
It’s time to retire this one to the dead van graveyard to give up the ghost.
My goal is to raise $12,000 to use as a down payment on an economical, safe, and reliable slightly used modified van which would include the same features of accessibility as the old one.
One of the greatest joys is the freedom and independence of getting behind the wheel.
Whether I’m taking kids to the beach, going Christmas shopping, taking a road trip, picking up another wheelchair user, or just hitting the grocery store for the family; I consider myself blessed.
So any contribution great or small is gratefully accepted to keep me rollin’— much Love. Rich.
