As many of you know, our dad aka #reny is in end stage heart failure and currently in-patient at the Spectrum Butterworth's hospital advance heart failure clinic in Grand Rapids. He is being evaluated for a few quality of life options including an LVAD or a heart transplant, and is also going through rigorous testing for some other issues that have been found such as some spots on his lungs.
There is no question that our dad has been the most important person in our lives and has always ensured my brother and I have had all we ever needed, and what we need now is for him to be here with us longer. Any funds we receive will go towards his medical and living expenses throughout this very invasive and intense journey. This can include deductibles, lab and tests, medications, and other burdens that may arise. br />
This year has sucked for the Rennhack family, but we still have a lot to be thankful for such as all of our family and friends. We could not have handled these past few months without all of you and for that we are so grateful.
Please, please, please keep my dad in your prayers that he is healthy enough to go forward with his treatment and that he can get back to doing the things he loves like playing with his 3 grandbabies, golfing, and being in the outdoors.
We need our village, but have faith knowing the "God is in Control" always like Grammie Lucy taught us.
