Summary:
I’ve done everything I can to keep up — sold what I could, cut corners, and kept pushing — but rising costs have pushed me to the edge. I’m struggling to cover rent, food, and bills, and my car barely makes it to work. I’m just asking for a little help to stay housed, eat, and fix what I can so I can keep moving forward.
Story:
Hi, my name is Raymond. I hate having to ask for help, but I’m out of options.
The cost of living has just gotten out of control. Rent, food, bills — everything keeps going up, and my income hasn’t. I’ve sold what I can, cut every corner possible, and stretched every dollar until it broke. But right now, I’m struggling just to keep a roof over my head and food in the fridge.
With SNAP being shut down, I’ve lost the little safety net that kept me from going hungry. Some days it feels like I’m hanging on by my fingertips, just trying to make it to the next week.
I do have a car, but it’s not in great shape — it’s only reliable for short drives to work right now. I’ve been trying to save to get it fixed up, because having dependable transportation would open up job opportunities beyond walking distance. I don’t need anything fancy, I just want a fair shot at improving my situation.
Right now, I’m asking for help to cover the basics: rent, groceries, and essential bills so I don’t lose the little stability I still have. Every bit helps — even a few dollars or sharing my story makes a difference.
I’m not looking for a handout, just a little help to get through this rough stretch and build toward something better.
Thank you for reading this and for caring.
