I am Rana from Gaza, a mother of four children.

My eldest is 14 years old, and my youngest is 3 years old, with twins who are 6 years old.

I used to work as a university lecturer, and my husband Ahmed owned a group of English language training centers.

Now we are unemployed because the centers were completely destroyed in the recent war on the Gaza Strip.

Our home was also completely demolished, and now we live in a tent with our young children.

Everything feels hopeless.

We have lost everything that was a source of income.

We have been displaced many times, and each time we suffer more than the last.
