For the past 24 months, Raag has operated with a healthy, diversified guest mix, neighborhood families, corporate travelers, suburban visitors, and private events. In the last two months, nearly 43% of that demand has temporarily paused for us. We are a Indian ethnic food cuisine restaurant, our guests represent a diverse mix of people visiting us from all over the state. Our neighborhood community continues to show up, and we are deeply grateful but it cannot sustain a restaurant built for full capacity month after month. Below is a transparent look at our guest mix.
We chose to pay even when doors were quiet. Today we are fighting for the same people who built this place with us. Your support keeps families employed, preserves a cultural safe home, and gives this community space a future for us.

Why Raag Matters to the Twin Cities
In a city filled with chains, big food brands, and famous chef corporate concepts, Raag chose to be independent, personal, and community centered. For more than four years, we have been part of the cultural fabric of the Twin Cities. What began as the Only One of this FORMAT Indian fine-dining restaurant grew into something bigger, a place for food, culture, music, and community.
It has become a place where first dates turned into engagements, where birthdays and anniversaries were celebrated, where neighbors met neighbors, where artists, musicians, seniors, families, people of all ethnicities gathered under one roof.
It has been a bridge between cultures, introducing modern Indian cuisine to new audiences. We hosted chef tastings, cultural events, film-festival gatherings, community fundraisers, and everyday dinners that made people feel connected. The Corner Cafe extended that mission into the daytime — a neighborhood coffee space built for conversation, warmth, and belonging.
