Who Are We?
Puedo Leer Library is Granada's first lending library, open and free to everyone, with a goal of putting books into the hands of children. We strive so that the children become lifelong readers, enabling them to succeed academically and economically.
What We Do
We provide access to books through our lending library and free services to teachers by lending them books that they can enjoy with their students. We help them understand the importance of reading and enjoyment. We give the children of Granada a place where they are encouraged to read and play.
Why We Do It
We want to bring the joy of reading to the children of Granada. It is important to increase literacy, assist in educational endeavors, and make libraries community centers for all.
We are raising funds to keep our local library open!
Despite many difficulties, we have been able to continue to operate, a true testament to our local staff's capabilities.
We must sustain our staff, our library family.
We are committed to bringing the love of reading to the children and their families. More than ever, we recognize and appreciate your incredible support and friendship, making our work possible.
