Keep Porty Tidy

Hi, my name is Colin and I run the Keep Porty Tidy Volunteer Group. I’ve been doing this for over 4 years now and I’ve mostly financed it myself, I use my own van and spend most days of the week either litterpicking myself or meeting and organising litterpicking groups from various large companies or when I’m not doing this I remove graffiti from all over Portobello which seems like a never ending task, I also do quite a bit of weeding. KPT started off life as a litterpicking group but gradually took on many other things and it all costs money. Edinburgh Council do provide some supplies but it’s minimal and it’s to do the job they should be doing themselves. I’ve spent a lot of my own money and time doing this but I can’t afford to do it on my own any longer so anything you give will be very much appreciated and put to very good use doing all the aforementioned tasks and probably a lot more.
