Keep Phil's Family Afloat

June 3rd, our dear friend/brother/son/dad/nephew, Phil Curtis, passed away in a freak motorcycle accident. He was wearing his helmet, enjoying a beautiful day with his best friend. Something went wrong and we are all left with a huge hole where he used to be.
Phil was an incredibly kind and giving individual-- snarky and stubborn as he was, he has left behind his family and a huge network of friends who loved him very much.
We're still reeling, but ultimately we want to ease the burden for Kristy, the love of his life, and make sure she doesn't have to immediately uproot her life and move out of their house.
His end of life expenses should be covered, so right now, priority number one is making sure Kristy and her family, who Phil loved like his own, don't have to go without.
Our goal is to raise at least 2 months' rent to keep her afloat while she prepares for her first grandchild and mourns the loss of her life partner. She recently started a new job in anticipation of returning to school-- Kristy and Phil had plans and we want to help her see them through.
Any money raised will go to Kristy for rent, utilities and whatever else she needs.
