Paul needs a lifeboat!
What Happened: Over ten years ago when Paul was launching into a life of his own, he had a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury. Adapting to his new condition and facing the economic consequences of underpaid work caused him a great deal of grief. He learned that life is unfair and he got a lemon. Now he is in training as a commercial electrician through the Calif. Department of Rehab. He his incredibly grateful for this chance which will not come again. While the training is incredibly intense, he's rising to the occasion.
Right now we are experiencing financial hardship related to my job loss and Paul's struggle to get the unemployment due him. Paul has an emergency need for funds to maintain and repair the vehicle. In fact, funds became so thin Paul missed class for lack of gas money. We don't want to do that again!
Here's the breakdown of what he urgently needs.
- Vehicle smog and registration - $220 Due April 27
- Brake repair - $400 Due now
- Insurance - $210 (for the month of April)
- Although Rehab does offer a stipend for gas, we are chronically out of gas. We have to keep the needle over the quarter tank mark. I also need to shop, do errands and go on job interviews. Gas - $170
We say "thank you" for your love and concern and numerous prayers over these past difficult years. Paul is going to make it. All we need is a nudge to get us over the finish line.
