This is Samo, and apparently I need spine surgery.

I lost sensation and the ability to extend the fingers on my left hand about 3 months ago, which complicates my life as a cook. Based on the symptoms, MRI, and professional input, spine surgery seems to be the best option.

This could take me out of the restaurant for several weeks.

In addition to the upcoming medical bills, my absence at the restaurant will require extra staffing, which will be difficult to afford given how tightly everything needs to run just to break even.

While closing the restaurant temporarily is technically an option, it would not be fair to the employees, our customers, or wholesale accounts who rely on our products for their menus.
