(Me and my friends are setting this up to keep our group open)

Liverpool’s Royal Court Youth Theatre has been a place where young people build confidence, make friends, and discover a love for performing.

It’s also one of the only free performing arts communities in the North West, meaning so many young people can take part regardless of their background or financial situation.

Recently, we received difficult news that Youth Theatre sessions have been paused due to rising costs. This means that many young people could lose a space that means so much to them — not just for acting, but for confidence, creativity, and a sense of belonging.

Some young people who attend have diagnoses like ASD or ADHD, and having a space like this can make a real difference. And for others, the friendships built here are incredibly important, and sometimes the only one they have outside.

For many of us, Youth Theatre isn’t just a hobby. It’s where we’ve grown up, learned new skills, and found our people.

We’re raising money to help support the return of these sessions and keep opportunities like this open and accessible to everyone.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help bring Youth Theatre back and protect one of the few free creative spaces available to young people in the North West.

If you can’t donate, please share this. It could make all the difference. ❤️
