My name is Miranda, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times my family has ever faced. My husband, Dari, is currently fighting an immigration case that could separate him from our family. We are asking for your support to help us reopen and appeal a deportation order from 2014 so we can continue building our life together here in the United States.
Dari has been living in the United States continuously since 2012. He is a devoted husband and a loving father to our three children: Josiah (15), Kayson (7), and Hendrix (4). He is the backbone of our family—emotionally, physically, and financially—and the thought of losing him is devastating.
Back in 2014, during the original immigration process, our oldest son Josiah was just 3 years old and undergoing extensive medical testing. At the time, we didn’t yet have answers, but we now know he was suffering from fatty liver disease. We were overwhelmed as parents trying to navigate his health crisis, and unfortunately, that difficult period impacted our ability to fully manage and respond to the legal process. As a result, a deportation order was issued.
Today, we are doing everything we can to correct that situation and reopen his case, but the legal fees and costs associated with an immigration appeal are overwhelming.
In addition to this, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2020. MS is an unpredictable and often disabling disease that affects my daily life. Recently, on April 1, 2026, I received news that new lesions have developed, indicating progression of my condition. This makes Dari’s presence in our home even more critical, as he helps care for me and our children, especially on the days when my symptoms make it difficult to function.
We are a family that has always worked hard and stayed strong through every challenge, but right now, we cannot do this alone.
Your donation will go directly toward legal expenses to reopen Dari’s case and fight to keep our family together. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference. If you are unable to donate, sharing our story would mean the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can give.
With gratitude,
Miranda & Family
