"Keep our family strong." - Ellie

I asked my oldest daughter Ellie (8) "Where do I even begin...?" She told me to explain that we just want to "keep our family strong". I loved that answer.
Throughout everything that has been thrown our way these last few years, we keep fighting and being strong. Sometimes we have no choice but to be strong.
And sometimes, we just need help whether we want to admit it or not.
In the last several years, my dad (Poppa T) has had to overcome what seems like battle after battle in his health (diabetes, wounds, kidney issues, neuropathy... just to name a few). He has ALWAYS been proud and passionate about his work and family. Through and through he has always been determined and STUBBORN at times to be sure his family is taken care of... between sickness and health.
With that being said, his most recent hospital stay confirms he will be having several different doctor visits to follow up with and will not be able to work for months, years, or if he will be able to be in the workforce ever again.
The job he currently has does not offer short-term disability either.
My mother (Gigi) is in a transitional period with her career and their main stressor is getting by for the next few months for when they will be more stable financially.
If you can help keep our family strong, thank you times a million.
