Dear friends, family, and kind supporters,
On August 18th, I lost the love of my life, my husband of 39 years, Sean, after his courageous battle with Stage IV malignant melanoma that metastasized to his brain. For the past six years, caring for Sean full-time was my entire world. Because his care required around-the-clock support, I was unable to work outside the home. At the same time, I faced my own severe health battles, enduring 16 major surgeries—including a procedure on July 24th from which I am still physically recovering. To add to an already devastating summer, while Sean was actively fighting for his life, we were evacuated and displaced from our home due to the Modrite wildfire.
Now, alongside deep grief, wildfire aftermath, and my own physical recovery, I face an immediate crisis: with no active income, I am at real risk of losing our multigenerational home. This house holds four decades of our family's memories and serves as our anchor. I am humbly asking for your help to build a bridge through this impossible time. How your donations will help:
With gratitude, Lisa
God bless

- Mortgage and housing: Keeping payments current so I do not lose our home.
- Medical and final expenses: Covering outstanding end-of-life and surgical costs.
- Basic necessities: Sustaining basic living needs while I physically heal and transition.
