Hi all, I'm a small business owner in Western North Carolina. I offer both MOVING and JUNK REMOVAL services. My business has been considered by a lot of people in the local community to be a great asset and a blessing in times of need as I use my profits I earn from paying jobs to give back to my community by offering deeply discounted rates on both Moving and Junk Removal services to those in financial need. My business also often sponsors community cleanups of illegal dump sites free of charge.
As much as I hate to, it's my turn to ask for help as recently the brakes stopped working in my box truck that I use to provide these services. Without my work truck, I'm out of business and that means I can no longer be an asset to the community as well.
I've been quoted between $1,500-$2,500 to get the brakes on my 1998 Freightliner FL60 26 ft box truck in safe working order. I have a mechanic who's willing to help me install the parts; however, I could really use some help paying for the parts. I'm going to need all new brake pads, brake drums, slack adjusters on all sides, and even a few replacement air lines that are dry rotted and slightly leaking.
Please consider donating even if it's just $1 as everything helps me meet my goal. If I can get my truck fixed, I promise to continue helping those in need for as long as I have a working truck and the ability to do so.
