Neighbors Studio is a Jersey City staple, and right now, we need help staying open.

Neighbors Studio was built to serve our community. Over time, it’s become a trusted third space in Jersey City. Our studio is run by one woman, one person covering the rent, utilities, heat, and every cost it takes to keep a physical space open. Over the past few months, we’ve continued to open our doors and offer reduced or flexible pricing to artists and community members who couldn’t afford full costs, because we understand what it’s like to need support.

The past two months have been especially challenging. Between rent, utilities, the rising cost of heating the space during the winter, and storm-related impacts that disrupted operations and expenses, the financial pressure has added up quickly.

While we have always found a way to make it work, the margin is thin, and the reality is that keeping our doors open depends on meeting these costs.
