myBurbank is a local news source for the City of Burbank, CA that has been in business for 10 years. We have been at a break even point for the last few years which was great because our goal was to get the local news to people who had no other free source. The only other source for people was the Burbank Leader site that is owned by the L.A. Times which is a pay site and has no ties to Burbank as far as an office or reporters who live here,

With the Covid-19 virus that has locked everyone down, our advertising by local businesses has suffered immensely and it is really hard to not only pay our expenses, but out writers, editors and photographer and I want to keep them going as best as possible. Many of our local businesses are struggling right now and are unable to pay for advertising. We are trying to help open businesses right now at no charge.

If you support local journalism and business I ask that you help us with any size donation during these hard times which I know we are ALL going through. We have applied for government help but do not know if we qualify or even when anything will happen.
