I’m starting this GoFundMe to help my 79-year-old mother during a very difficult time. Over the past month, her mobile home has had two major water pipe bursts, causing serious damage and expensive repairs.
She lives on a very fixed senior income and simply doesn’t have the resources to cover these unexpected costs. The total needed for repairs this time is about $2,500, which is overwhelming for her, since she just had this happen less than a month ago, and that first disaster depleted her savings.
My mom has always been strong, independent, and generous to others. Asking for help is not easy for her, but right now she truly needs support.
