My name is Jordan Andow, a games media writer and independent website owner. That website is Analog Stick Gaming, where we make zero income currently but maintain the site for the love of the game and to be the site we would want as an audience.

I want to begin by saying I would never normally try to raise funds in this way, but recently I had a family emergency which has resulted in me needing to use my yearly savings that cover website costs for personal reason.

The main reason for this is that just over two weeks ago, my mum had a heart attack and was recovering well but is now back in hospital and likely to need a major open heart surgery.

This has resulted in me needing to cover many of the bills and other costs for the time being that I wouldn't usually have. Including travelling to and from the hosipital via taxi for my father.

As mentioned above this has basically used all my savings in the last two weeks and leaves me in a situation where I'm unlikely to be able to afford our yearly site running costs that are due on September the 11th.
