48‑Hour Goal: $5,000 for ASD Early Intervention & Legal Help

Donation protected
Hello friends and community,

I’m a mom advocating for my autistic child while navigating a pending family‑court matter in Fulton County, Georgia. Early‑intervention services (speech/OT/behavioral supports and care coordination) are time‑sensitive for kids on the spectrum. We’re at that critical window where prompt, consistent services can make a real difference in communication, regulation, and daily living—and I’m determined to get him the right help right away.

At the same time, I need legal counsel. An experienced family‑law attorney can stabilize the situation, protect my child and ensure the court has a clear record of his medical and developmental needs. That stability is essential to keep services uninterrupted and to meet the best‑interests‑of‑the‑child standard the court must apply.

What your gift covers right now (first $5,000):

$3,500–$4,000 – Initial attorney retainer to secure representation before the Final hearing.

$600–$1,000 – Intake and start‑up for early‑intervention (evaluations, treatment planning, and the first sessions in speech/OT/parent coaching or similar evidence‑based supports).

$0–$900 (as needed) – Short‑term practical costs that help us access care (records, secure document handling, and safe communication technology so appointments and court prep aren’t disrupted).

Ongoing Litigation Costs : $10,000 for stage 2 attorney prep and another $15,000+ for the Final stage of Attorney representation.

I will post brief updates as funds are applied so you can see progress (e.g., “retainer paid,” “evaluation scheduled,” “first therapy sessions booked”). If we raise more than $5,000, additional funds will extend services (more sessions, caregiver coaching) and cover further legal work tied to keeping my child’s care consistent.

Safety & privacy

Because some filings in the case involve sensitive safety issues, I’m keeping personal addresses and certain details off the internet. I have asked the Court to keep specific location information sealed and for protective handling of identifiers; I am following court rules so I don’t jeopardize my child’s safety or the integrity of the record.

Why now?

Early‑intervention is most effective when it starts promptly and is consistent. Waiting months can mean lost opportunities for development. The legal side matters because stability at home and in schedules is what lets therapies actually stick. Securing counsel now is how I protect that stability.

How you can help today

Give if you’re able. Even $10–$25 helps us reach the $5,000 starter goal quickly.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me fight for my child’s care and safety. Your support will be felt in every appointment we keep and in the calm we can build around him.
