Hi, my name is Keira Mills.

This morning started like any other with my 9-month-old puppy, Moose — full of energy, being silly, and his usual crazy self. But what began as a normal day quickly turned into one of the scariest moments of our lives.

Moose was rushed to the vet, where we found out he has a serious blockage. He is now in surgery, fighting through this emergency with the help of the veterinary team. The surgery is risky, however common, and Moose will have a long road to recovery ahead of him.

We are not ones to ask for money, but right now we truly need extra support. The cost of Moose’s surgery and his recovery care is overwhelming, and every bit of help means the world to us.

Our hearts are broken, but we are holding onto hope and are so thankful for every chance to keep Moose with us. He means the absolute world to us, and we love him more than words can say.
