Keep Millie Home
Millie came into our lives when her mom Quita moved into our home to live with our son Luis in the beginning of 2016. We welcomed them with open arms and soon they became a very big part of our family. Quita and Millie finally had entered a stable home. Our bond grew stronger over time and we built a trusting relationship. Quita and Luis were very much in love.
We watched Millie grow up throughout the years and also her father daughter relationship with Luis . Our home has been the only home she remembers. Quita was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2017 and wished for Millie to continue to be surrounded by our family, the stable family she was growing up in. Quita signed a Delegation of Parental Authority to Luis's mom in 2018 when she went back into the hospital to be treated for her heart condition.
Unfortunately the Delegation expired and Quita passed away in November 2020 due to COVID complications. Quita's wishes were for Millie to continue living with us.
Although we cannot discuss the specifics due to ongoing litigation. Millie has expressed she would like to continue living with us. We are doing everything in our power to KEEP MILLIE HOME. It was a very hard decision for us to reach out but now is the time that we ask for your help. We are proudly independent and always try to resolve problems and challenges on our own.
We will use the funds to directly assist with legal fees.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any assistance you can provide.
Remember - sharing the campaign with others helps as much as donating!
