Michael Regensburg (Mike, Mikey, Regs, Moonshine Mike) suffered a sudden heart attack and was taken from us on April 17th 2020. He leaves behind a
million memories imprinted on the hearts of all who knew him, and
to know him was to love him. Michael was a successful
small business owner of "Dolphin Electric" for over two decades where he almost single-handedly wired hundreds of houses, all over Long Island, including homes in the Hamptons most recently. He lived a
quiet, nature-filled life with his
beloved wife JoAnne and their pets in their
beautiful home in Ridge, NY. His untimely death fell during the awful pandemic of Covid-19 where no family can physically be there for JoAnne. As a small business owner during this difficult time, Michael's business was experiencing a temporary
financial hardship. This series of unfortunate events lead to
no survivor-ship or retirement benefits for his wife. JoAnne is now left to not only
grieve this immense loss of a beloved man, her best friend, but to
worry about finances, and having to return to work sooner than she may be ready. Our goal, as their family, is to help
keep the home and memories that Michael and JoAnne have made and built
together. With your help, we can accomplish this and become JoAnne's
angels on earth-- to help her through this most trying time. She is, in her very nature, a giver. JoAnne has been a nurse for 35 years- where she has worked tirelessly to care for others! JoAnne
deserves to grieve properly; without
fear of financial trouble, or worry about when and
if she can retire after our wonderful Michael has been called home. JoAnne
deserves support, no matter what can be offered. Even a simple
prayer will do. It is not often you get the
chance to change someone's life... let this
be your moment. We will be forever
grateful, in
Michael's memory.
