Keep Me Singing

Hi, my name is Adro Kat!
I am a longtime singer from the Sunshine Coast. I am in my thirties and music is and has always been my life. Besides being well read I don’t have skills in anything else and have always achieved most when I have been able to perform, playing weekly every week even during the pandemic, weddings, birthdays, special occasions or as beautiful ambience in some of the many cafes, bars and clubs I frequent. Music has given me everything I have and more. Friendships, lovers, material things.
Recently after a toothache i went to the dentist and was confronted by this. 13k rebuild on my smile, after years of damage.
Growing up I was victim to many traumas from premature sexualisation as a child, family trauma, drug addiction in the family. Coming home to houses that had been emptied of everything valuable, my brother and sister having extremely great challenges in mental health which left its scars which later led onto much suffering during my early adulthood.
I was an alcoholic for many many years as I grew past these traumas, going into rehab at least twice in my twenties and to be honest, I’m lucky to be here after some massive habits and mixing of substances. I was a wreck for so long but can safely say that since May 11th 2015 I was able to have my last drink and haven’t touched a drop since! Never will again!
I have never looked back because the comparison to my life now and my life then is so incredibly life altering and beautiful that all I am committed to now is continuuing to be able to make the world a better place to the best of my skills, my knowledge and applicability.
But a life poorly led early on leaves it’s effects and sooner or later the debt collector comes calling! So here it is!
i can’t tell you how important dental health is in my business for singing as well as keeping up
a presence l, a face.
I can’t tell you how blessed I am to be able to do what I do. The lives I’ve touched and have touched mine with their gratefulness, their presence at shows, their support, ongoing. Sometimes I truly truly feel the good karma has come, finally! But a past can catch up and all things must heal.
My job now is not to be a musician but to use my musical skill to make the world as best I can for those who come to hear me, or hear from a distance and are drawn in.
mom committed to sharing love, life and happiness. Telling my story and unapologetically being the best person I can be with the knowledge I have! But right now, I need a little help to keep that opportunity I have been blessed to have, keep going fully and fruitfully, affordably and openly!
Much of what I have I have put back into my craft. I have been recording an album due out very very soon! Within two months at the latest I can only hope. Def in three! Fourteen original tracks titled “Love, and other heartaches”.
I have more than once lost everything and rebuilt, only in the last seven years have I simply been building!
Accompanying it in the next year I hope to have a novel of my story written, a cautionary tale, of recovery and growth.
As the album launches I will add links to
the music and for however long it takes to pay this off!
As many may know the arts and hospitality sector was hit hard by the pandemic. Many are still struggling back on their feet.
I am hoping for any help at all, even on not reaching the goal and will be so greatly appreciative.
I promise to give back everything I have been given. And promise free product to every wonderful fan that donates. Get in touch. Share some love! Help save a smile a voice and help me help make the world as harmonious as I can with the wonderful purity of six strings and a voice!
My love to everyone of you!
