Keep Aunt Mary Ware Safe and Housed

Mary Ware, at 103 years old, has spent her life giving to others, and now she needs the community’s support. As her caretaker and Power of Attorney since 2020, I’ve ensured she lives in a safe, high-quality care facility where she thrives among loving friends who cherish her. After a fall in 2020, doctors discovered breast cancer, which she bravely battled with a low-dose chemo pill and radiation to keep it contained. A year later, we nearly lost her to congestive heart failure, but thanks to an incredible team of doctors, a pacemaker was implanted, giving her back her life and giving us more wonderful years with her. When I took over her care, she had a small nest egg that has sustained her for five wonderful years, but those funds are now depleted. Mary has been a mother figure to me since birth, offering unwavering love and guidance, not just to me but to countless others. For the first time in over a century, she is the one who needs help. I am asking for donations to help keep her in the place she calls home, where she is happy, safe, and surrounded by love.

Our goal is to raise 1/2 of her monthly living expenses for a 12-month period.
