It’s a sad situation for us to have to do this. Mansion Hill Tavern has fallen on tough financial times, and absent major intervention, we won’t be able to continue operations past the middle of November.

November is our “make it or break it” month. In addition to property taxes and license renewals, this is also when our insurance renewal comes due, and we have to come up with the money right after our slow season.

It’s a crunch that we’ve found a way to get over in past years, and this year, we just can't get the ends to meet. Our slow season was particularly slow, and we haven't bounced back the way we have in the past.
