Keep Lviv Establishment Open
Donation protected
I am fundraising on behalf of my brother, Andriy, who is a Canadian living in Lviv with his wife and three kids.
Lviv is 100km from the Polish border and has become a relative safe haven for hundreds of thousands of internally displaced Ukrainians, a crossroads for refugees fleeing the country, and a vital base for volunteers providing aid. With a staggering number of people seeking refuge and volunteering in the city, establishments are struggling to remain open at a time when they’re needed most.
My brother owns an expatriate pub in downtown Lviv with a capacity of 30. For the past few weeks, he and his employees have been volunteering their time to offer a place to warm up with free coffee & tea, as well as creating a community hub with translation services & logistical aid.
He would love to sustain this while doing even more to help by offering free food to those in need. At this time this operation is solely funded by what’s left of his savings and a tip jar. This is where we’re requesting additional support.

Your contributions will be used towards:
- utilities (to cook, keep the lights and heating on)
- cost of raw ingredients & their transport/delivery
- toiletries & sanitary supplies
- small stipends to support Andriy and his two employees
My brother needs your support to keep his doors open for the sake of his family, his employees, local volunteers, and displaced Ukrainians in Lviv.
Thank you so much for your support. Together we will overcome.
