Hi, I'm Lilly and I'm here to beg for help. Please help with legal fees to get guardianship of my eight-year-old granddaughter, Luna. Everyone that knows me knows I’ve been raising her since birth, as she was abandoned by her mother, my daughter, since birth. Luna and I have been inseparable and we are each other's world. She has recently been placed in foster care while CPS is sorting out where she should be. I have never needed to have legal guardianship thus far and now, eight years later, her mother is challenging it. My granddaughter needs to be here with me, at home, in her safe, comfortable, and known space, and I need to be her legal guardian so this never becomes an issue again. Thank you for any help you can provide, even if it’s a few dollars. It all adds up. I’m pleading with all of you to help. Anyone who has ever come from an unstable home life, you understand how important this is.
