Friends, Long COVID Campaign Founder Meighan Stone needs our help!

Over the holidays, she experienced an unforeseen housing emergency and medical crisis. Part of her apartment bedroom wall fell in and exposed black mold inside the wall. She had to immediately leave the apartment due to mold contamination and the cold weather.

Meighan is now displaced with just one suitcase and without all her medications and supports. She will likely need to replace most, if not all, of her belongings due to mold contamination. She also is experiencing immediate health problems that require an iron infusion and other care. For that reason she is unable to spearhead this fundraiser herself, but all funds raised go directly to her.

She has been working constantly (and often through PEM crashes) on Long COVID advocacy for the past two years with little to no pay for her work because she knows how important and critical this work is. Our solidarity is crucial for her to continue it!

Here is a message from Meighan herself:

"My greatest hope is not just to be stable medically, but also to keep doing Long COVID advocacy at a critical time. I've been volunteering for two years now and want to keep going and not let this stop me. But I don't even have a functioning laptop, computer, printer, or any basic supplies to keep doing advocacy now that I'm displaced due to this apartment damage.

I just can't manage this emergency physically, medically, or financially on my own as a chronically ill single mom in a tough economy and broken healthcare system."
