Since our founding in 2006, TPFYI has been the only consistent and reliable local news source for Tuxedo and we have worked diligently to provide accurate, factual, and unbiased reporting on the decisions and developments that matter most to the community. That commitment has earned TPFYI the trust and respect of our readers, and we are proud of the website and news service we have built together.
Our small but dependable team attends and reports on all Village and Town municipal meetings, ensuring residents stay informed about what is happening with our local government. From budgets and taxes to lake maintenance, development projects, emergency information, elections, and the preservation of local history, TPFYI strives to cover it all.
Beyond municipal reporting, TPFYI offers a comprehensive community calendar, a resident-compiled directory of local contractors and professional services, and a steady stream of community-focused content. Our Editorials and Letters to the Editor also provide an important forum for residents to share ideas and perspectives on issues impacting our community.

With thousands of monthly readers, ongoing reporting demands, and website maintenance, we rely on the generosity of Tuxedo residents like you to make it happen. Our annual operating expenses total approximately $15,000, covering domain ownership, platform fees, and compensation for our webmaster/freelance reporter, who attends meetings, writes articles, manages the website, and updates our social media daily.
Nearly all of our funding comes from individuals who care deeply about Tuxedo. These donations provide the foundation that allows TPFYI to continue serving the community 365 days a year.
