Dear Friends,
Like so many small businesses, Little Peeps is facing the sad reality that with continued closures, we may have to close our doors forever. We have been part of the community we love for over eleven years and now more than ever, we need your support.
The continued shutdowns have been devastating to small businesses around Toronto and unfortunately, not small business is eligible for a government loan. Although curbside has helped Little Peeps stay afloat, it is not a sustainable solution as bills are mounting. At the beginning of our first shut down due to covid, our doors were smashed and we were looted. We got back on our feet and once again and then we were robbed a second time. This time there was a power outage and our alarm, lights and cameras were down. The thieves almost completely emptied our stores inventory and our shelves were left bare. We have been slowly re-building our inventory ever since.
Now we are in another shutdown. We have worked so hard for over a decade and we don't want to lose this loving hub of a store.
Your donation would assist us with:
Rent
Inventory
Insurance
Security
Utilities
Staffing
etc.
We are so incredibly grateful for our amazing community of like-minded parents, fellow business owners, friends and family. Without your continued support, we wouldn't be open today. Our community means everything to us and we are asking for your support in these very unusual circumstances.
Sincerely,
Alyssa Dahl
