Help Us Fight to Stay in the Place We Call Home

My name is Leandro, and my family and I have been living in the United States for over 20 years. During this time, we have worked hard, paid our taxes, and actively served in our church and community. This country is our home in every sense.

Recently, we received devastating news: a Notice to Appear for a deportation hearing. Returning to our home country is not a viable option — we have nothing there, and no prospects for the future.

We came here legally, on a visa, and from day one we have done everything possible to obtain legal status. Sadly, nothing worked. We have been misled by attorneys, faced changes in the law that shut down our cases, and spent all of our savings trying to stay here legally.

Our current attorney believes we have a strong case worth fighting for — but the legal fees are beyond what we can afford, $7,900. As a low-income family, this situation has left us with no choice but to humbly ask for your help.
