Keep Laura in Australia to Finish Hillsong College

In 2013, I gave my life to Jesus. Ever since then, I wanted to do something different with my life. I just didn't know what that could be. But what I did know was that nothing was going to change if I kept doing the same thing.  


In 2017, I decided to take a one-year career break from working as a designer in tech to do Hillsong College here in Sydney, Australia. One year turned into two and now I'm committed to complete the full course. I have decided to abandon a successful career I have built up with immense hard work because I believe that here is where I need to be in my current season. 


I am convinced that I am called to advance the kingdom of God here in this world. My mission is to become a solution to the world's issues as well as meeting the needs of the local communities and the people around me. I have decided not to remain as a spectator of what God is doing but to become an active participant and a contributor to the good work he has started. To do this, I need to be equipped for the long run. And therefore, I am asking you to support me financially to complete my ministry training here at Hillsong College.


In my past two years with Hillsong College, it has not only grown me into a better disciple of Jesus but also challenged me into a better human. In a short but dense period, it has changed my worldview and challenged how I see right or wrong. It has changed my perspective of how I see God, how I see the world, and how I see people. And more importantly, this journey has taught me to trust God and to taste His goodness. And here I am, relying on God's goodness once again, asking you to support me in whatever way you can. 


In order to complete my ministry training this year, I need tuition for 2 semesters and what's more urgently is that I need to be able to pay for my visa renewal and health care by the end of January.


Please keep me and my journey in your prayers. I thank God for your generosity in sowing into my mission and my training season. I pray that the God of all grace shall multiply back to you what you have kindly given just as he promised. Thank you for being a part of my life!
