Keep Kyra's Health Journey on Track

Hi everyone,

My name is Kyra, and I’m reaching out for help during a really difficult time. At 24, I was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease that affects multiple aspects of my health. Managing this condition requires specialized care from both a Rheumatologist and a Neurologist—neither of whom are available in my small rural town. My Rheumatologist is two hours away in Fargo, ND, and sometimes I also have to travel four hours to Rochester, MN, to receive specialized care at the Mayo Clinic. Reliable transportation is essential for me to access the medical treatment I need.

Last October, I took my car in for minor repairs, but instead of fixing the issue, the shop caused more damage, making it unsafe to drive on the highway. Now, I’m struggling to get to my critical appointments, and I need help either repairing my vehicle or securing a more reliable one.

I’m trying to raise $5,000 to cover repair costs or get a dependable car that will allow me to continue my treatment without fear of breaking down on the road. Every donation—big or small—means the world to me and brings me closer to a solution that ensures I can take care of my health.
