Keep Kosher food alive in Atlantic City

To all our dear friends, Unfortunately, we have some bad news to bring you at this time. This may be our last year in operation. Since the Covid epidemic and its aftermath Bubbies has been finding itself unable to pay its basic bills. Between the two of us, we have worked feverishly to generate enough money to bring our bills current for a time, but not enough for us to move forward and find a way to pay anyone to help us run the business. Tad is 76 years old and in very poor health. Most of the burden of running this business falls Liz. She has to make the food, cook, serve, order, lug the supplies to the restaurant, and clean the entire place. It is becoming much too much for her. Without financial support, we see no prospect of moving forward, paying our bills consistently or hiring help. We have borrowed $45,000 and, in addition, put our entire life savings and everything we own into keeping this business afloat. Our goal has always been to provide year-round kosher food to residents and visitors alike. To continue to do so, we desperately need your help. If bubbies should fail, it would end year-round kosher food in Atlantic City.
