Keep Kit in Bellingham and Off the Streets

Hey Y’all. In the past month and possibly more, I have been in a tough spot financially. I’ve always been able to pay for my rent but unfortunately this coming time I am not going to have enough to keep myself afloat.

On March 31st I checked myself into the Whatcom Crisis Triage Center. I stayed there for almost a week, working to find better ways to take care of myself mentally. While I have been able to find more peace within myself on that front, it also took a huge blow to my financial situation. This made me take a chunk of time off work that I requested paid medical leave for.

As of right now, My job has not given me the money I need from my medical leave, my hours have been cut and I do not know what else to do. I want to keep living in Bellingham, I want to keep living within this community I so desperately love, but I can’t unless I make rent.
