Keep Kingfish Cider Alive: Support Our Community

This is not where I thought I’d ever be but here is the story of Kingfish Cider.

A 100% woman owned and NGLCC certified company who produces cider, Kingfish Cider is the first and currently only distributed cider throughout Louisiana. I am creating craft apple and pear ciders at my unique taproom which are also carried at restaurants, bars and stores such as Total Wine. I am in the process of revamping how we maintain and grow in this challenging business environment but am being inundated by bills and slower sales than we’ve ever seen. This summer has been historically bad. I’m afraid before I can strengthen the business I will need to close it.

Kingfish Cider is more than great cider. I’ve raised nearly $10k for local rescue groups since 1/23. I also offer a fun and safe space for locals to hang out and socialize. Many people have had great parties and get togethers and enjoyed some good times in a fun atmosphere. I feel that I have enhanced our community and neighborhood. It would be a shame to let such a good, unique and fun place and product die.

I am working with investment sources and business planners but it is all coming too late as bills don’t wait! Please consider helping me keep Kingfish Cider going so I can get us to that light at the end of the tunnel.
