Keep Kiki's Dream Alive in NYC

Hello ! My name is Christian Toland, I go to AMDA in nyc for the performing arts, where I met a young woman named Kiki. This young lady and I immediately clicked. She was a star from the moment I met her, talent aside she has helped me with several everyday tasks, she has taken care of my multiracial hair, shes taught me how to do laundry on older washing machines and she even sometimes cooks me dinner. However, due to changes in FASFA (the financial aid department) Plus the abandonment that she has had to endure recently relating to her family has unfortunately resulted in her not being able to continue her studies. We have tried to apply for several student loans, but unfortunately, Kiki is not permitted to use any of them due to her younger age and lack of a cosigner. I have watched my friend, cry, struggle, and even at some points wanting to give up on her dream. But she has not. She continues to fight for her education, regardless of the setbacks and the constant "no" she has had to face over and over again from loan companies, family, and even the school we attend. She has been given an impossible task, I find her resilience quite admirable. She is 2000 miles away from home. She has nobody to support or aid her in this time of vulnerability. We love her and we want the world to be able to love her, Her strengths have to due with camera in acting. She is an aspiring film Director/Actress. However, without the education she needs, it's almost impossible for her to achieve her dreams. She has quite the talent for writing, she is a lovely actress, and shes stunning if I may add, I can sit here and go on for days about how much of a good person Kiki is, but unfortunately, I do not have the time to do that because we are nearing the end of our semester, and when the time comes, she will be without an education, a home, or a support system. Thats just not fair considering she has continuously worked and not given herself a break because they take their education seriously. If you have the means, please help Kiki, she is my best-friend. I cant bare see her be ripped from me and her dreams because of the senseless actions of the world and others shouldn't be the deciding factor of her fate.
