Keep Kerri's Family Cool in the Louisiana Heat

Hi, my name is Kerri, and I’m the proud mom of two incredible kids — Julerri and Julius. I work hard every day to take care of my children and keep our home full of love, laughter, and safety.

Life has thrown us a curveball. Our air conditioning unit went out during one of the hottest times of the year here in Louisiana, and unfortunately, the cost to replace it is more than I can handle on my own right now.

It’s more than just a comfort issue — with the heat climbing, it’s becoming unhealthy and unsafe for my kids, especially at night. I’ve been trying everything I can to keep them cool and calm, but I’ve realized I can’t do this alone.

That’s why I started this GoFundMe. I’m not the type to ask for help easily, but this is for them — and I know it’s okay to lean on community when it counts. I believe in love, I believe in people, and I believe that together we can make a difference.
