Keep Kayana in Basketball: Support Her Dream

Hi everyone, I started this gofundme as a way of seeking support to keep my daughter Kayana in her basketball club as I’ve been struggling financially. Kayana made it on the JV team as a freshman in high school. She never asks for much, but she begged me to put her in club basketball to improve her game. After trying out, she was picked to join the team. Sad to say, but a part of me was hoping she wouldn’t get picked since I’ve been struggling financially. Since she made it, I determined I would some how come up with the funds. This past weekend, her team won the championship in the tournament!

Luckily, there was an option to pay in two installments, and I was able to pay the first installment. The second installment is coming up in a week and I’m afraid I won’t be able to pay.

Despite her parents being divorced and going through a lot, Kayana has been doing extremely well in school as an honors student. She never complains about anything and is always grateful. I am the luckiest dad to have a daughter like her. She really doesn’t ask for much, but she really wanted to do club basketball. I feel really down on myself because I want to do better for Kayana and her little brother, Zhide.
