Keep Karol’s Barber Shop Afloat
It’s been five weeks since Karol Arkalyus
was forced to lock up her self owned
barbershop due to the coronavirus
restrictions.
Karol is an amazing success story, and has
achieved the American Dream, against all
odds. She has gone from immigrant and
refuge, to U.S citizen, entrepreneur, and
business owner. Without our help the
covid-19 crisis will sadly take down all
that she has struggled to build since
arriving in this country.
Karol is a truly beloved figure in so many
of our lives. She’s been cutting our hair,
and our children’s hair for over 20 years. Her welcoming smile, warm hugs, candy, & doughnuts have made Karol’s Barbershop a staple of the North Shore. Our kids are
always welcomed by Karol joyously
belting out “my boys & my girls are here!”
The store walls are decorated with
Christmas cards of her client’s families
displayed proudly as if her own flesh and
blood.
Karol is a large part of our community, a
part we should help protect.
Please join us in helping Karol’s
Barbershop survive! Let’s come together and give whatever we can to afford to
help keep her afloat until we get through
this disaster.
